SHINE (Sustainability and Health Initiative for Netpositive Enterprise) at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health is seeking a senior scientist at the Research Associate, Research Scientist, or Senior Research Scientist level to design and analyze studies about individual and population well-being which specifically examine the impact of work. The preferred candidate will have at least five years of experience in psychosocial measurement theory and survey design, multi-level modelling, and longitudinal analysis.  In addition, prior experience in the conduct of research related to occupational health, well-being, organizational psychology, and impact assessment is desired. Excellent writing and communication skills are a must along with the ability to work with the team.

Basic Qualifications:

– Doctoral degree in biostatistics, epidemiology or related field

– Experience in study design, in particular, survey methodology

– Statistical programming skills for data management and analysis

– Experience with STATA and/or R or other statistical software (e.g., SAS)

– Experience and success in scientific writing, including manuscripts and grant proposals

– Strong quantitative and communication skills

– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

– Solutions oriented

– Collaborative team player

Additional Qualifications:

– Knowledge of well-being literature is a plus

– Business experience, occupational experience or international health experience

– Interest in workforce well-being/corporate social impact landscape

This position is funded for 1 year with the possibility of renewal.  Three letters of reference and CV and cover letter requested.
